Circa 1801-1805, Rare Double Headed Eagle sword. Curved blade is 27″ in length, etching is visible on the blade with traces of blue present. Chips are noted in the blade, Brass handle, guard and pommel are a nice untouched patina. This sword is pictured in “The American Eagle Pommel Sword” By Mowbray on page 54. One of the Rarest American swords to own!
