About the Ruger American Predator .308

This is Ruger's scope package for the American Predator (model 16954) in .308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO. The rifle has an 18-inch cold-hammer-forged, medium-contour barrel threaded 5/8"-24 with a 1:10 twist, Power Bedding, a tang safety and the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, with a flush-fit rotary magazine.

A Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44 scope with the Dead-Hold BDC reticle is factory-mounted on a one-piece Picatinny base.

Built on the reliable action of the American, the Ruger American Predator is a bolt-action hunting rifle with a one-piece factory-installed scope rail and a free-floating cold hammer-forged threaded barrel with heavier tapering. The lightweight synthetic stock features modern fore-end contouring and grip serrations for a positive hold, the Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release, and the dual cocking cams contribute to smooth cycling. Other features include a visible easy to operate tang safety recoil-reducing buttpad and flush-fit rotary magazine.
