Springfield Armory XD Sub-Compact .40 S&W 3" Pistol, Black (Compliant)

About the Springfield Armory XD Sub-Compact

The XD Sub-Compact is the short-barrel member of Springfield Armory's XD line: a polymer-frame, striker-fired pistol with a 3-inch barrel, here chambered in .40 S&W with a black finish.

Like other XD pistols it has a grip safety and a trigger safety, a loaded chamber indicator, a striker status indicator at the rear of the slide, and an accessory rail on the frame. This listing is the compliant version (sold as "Compliant" by the old shop); check your state's rules on magazine capacity before you order.

Shipping, FFL transfer and returns

  • FFL transfer: firearms ship only to a licensed (FFL) dealer you choose at checkout, never to a home address. You show ID and complete ATF Form 4473 and the background check at the dealer, who charges their own transfer fee. How FFL shipping works
  • Shipping cost: $29.99 flat per order, free on orders over $999. Orders usually leave within 1-3 business days after payment clears and we have your dealer's license.
  • Returns: a firearm can be returned before transfer; once transferred it is legally used and cannot be returned for refund, but the maker's warranty still applies. Return policy
  • Payment: Secure Checkout. Questions before you order? Contact us or read the FAQ.
